Each year, Pantone (a company focused on color) announces their “color of the year.” This year, it’s Greenery, which they call a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew.
Greenery can be paired with most neutrals, like black, brown, tan or gray. It would be a great color for a top when paired with neutral pants or leggings. I can also see it this spring with white, and of course, you can always wear it with denim.
If you want to go beyond traditional pairings, try mixing in complimentary colors like orange and shades of brown. Or try a print with Greenery as one of the standout colors to easily incorporate this new color into your wardrobe.
Finally, don’t forget about the power of accenting with accessories. A pop of Greenery may be just the right touch for many of your outfits.
Here’s a video I found with more style inspiration for Pantone’s Greenery.
