Over the weekend, I took some time to read a few magazines, including the most recent issue of All You magazine. (Not sure I love this magazine, but I’m testing it out. I have a magazine addiction, of sorts.)
There was an article with some tips on rethinking your wardrobe to ensure that you have a wardrobe that sees you through the days when you feel like you have nothing to wear.
- Try to have 3 times as many tops as you have pants and skirts, since people are much more likely to remember you blouses and sweaters.
- About 60% of your wardrobe should be timeless staples, preferably in solid colors. Accent your wardrobe with prints and novelty items.
- Separate work clothes from casual items in your closet.
- Choose what you’re going to wear tomorrow before you go to bed at night to even further streamline your morning routine.
