A “wrap” style debuts in two different ways in the Ruby Ribbon Spring Capsule for 2017.
First, check out this new and unique Wrap Pant. The waistband has a skirt/scarf wrap detail on a super versatile matte jersey knit. These pants will travel well, whether it’s just to the office or all the way around the world!
The wrapped waist provides whimsy, but also coverage. They will look great with a crisp white shirt, or pair with them with a jacket for a professional look.
Here she’s wearing it with the new Sparkle V Pullover, worn backwards and some amazing strappy sandals. You have to look hard on the picture to see the wrap detail on the pants.
And, now for the new Wrap Ponte Jacket… at first I thought, it’s just another jacket.
But you really need to take the time to look at it. And it looks good! The long drape front gives the illusion of tall and trim. This jacket is great to toss over your shoulders with your jeans, or dress up for an “I-mean-business” suit.
Trapunto stitching on the semi-attached belt gives this added accessory an obi look: tie it in the front or back, or around the pants or skirt you are wearing.
