As promised, Storyline Collection is already augmenting their line (which just released last fall) with the latest capsule released, which they are calling Spring Break. The Spring Break release features a new color, two new prints and the launch of a new tunic dress. Plans from Storyline Collection are to have new fashions added about every other month.
The Spring Break launch is called “release 1” and there are rumors that more is coming on a faster cadence than maybe you’re expecting. Let’s walk through what’s new in the Spring Break release that launched last week.
Spring Break Capsule Overview
- Key Largo Blue debuted, in a shade of periwinkle blue that will leave you wishing for a spring break on the beach. You can get this new (and dare I say gorgeous) color in the Turnaround Top, Classic Tunic and the Wrap Cardigan. This new shade of blue blends perfectly with the Electric Lily print offered by Storyline Collection in the Holiday release.
- Island Floral is the sleeper print in this collection. It’s a black and white floral with hot pink accents. I displayed it at a shopping event last week and it caught the eye of so many women. You can get this new print in the Classic Tunic, but also in the Tunic Dress (more on that in a minute). It’s great paired with black, but I can see it as a go-to top with white capris also.
- A white on black floral print called Shadow Floral also launched in this collection. This pattern is used in two very unique ways with the Spring Break collection. You can get the Storyline Collection jersey pants in this pattern and I think these are just perfect as a neutral. We all have black pants, but no one has these and they can be worn with all the same things you’re pairing with black. Plus, you can also get a matching top with the Turnaround Tank. When worn together, it has a jumpsuit feel. (Ask me about the surprise on the back of the Shadow Floral Turnaround Top.)
- And a new spring Tunic Dress also launched, in a choice of black or the Island Floral print. This versatile dress features a flattering v-neckline and side seam pockets (yes, we all love pockets, don’t we?).
All the pieces in the Storyline Collection so far in their signature matte jersey fabric, created just for Storyline. The pieces come in sizes XS to XL and run a bit generous.
