Use a tie-dye technique on clothing isn’t new, but for 2020, tie dye gets an updated polished look. With the new Spring 2020 collection from Peach, called Mood Indigo, we showcase the beauty of Shibori and Tie Dye in a collection that is visually exciting and gets you ready for Spring!
Shibori is a Japanese manual dyeing technique that produces a number of different patterns on fabric. Shibori involves binding sections of the cloth to achieve the desired pattern. The pattern achieved depends on how tightly and where the cloth is bound.
The new collection from Peach features six items with a tie-dye effect, including a sporty tank, a cute scoop neck tee, two pair of fun printed leggings and two figure-flattering dresses.
For a fresh option with jeans, shorts or a summer skirt, check out the Kana Seamless Tank and the Koto Scoop Neck.
When I tried on the Kana Seamless Tank in indigo tie dye, I was blown away by how flattering it is. This super comfortable tank features no side seams and a unique, hand-dyed design to up your style game at the gym, studio or just walking the dog.
Key features of the tank include a racerback, scoop neckline and Peach signature 4-way stretch.
The Koto Scoop Neck tee is a classic, but in a new tie-dye option. The cotton slub fabric is casual, light and airy. and the shibori tie-dye pattern, in either indigo or vivid green, will vary with each piece. This tee features a slightly curved hemline and is semi-fitted, skimming your body.
Each season, Peach adds new options in their reversible leggings and with Mood Indigo, they introduced an ankle and a capri legging in tie dye.
The ankle-length tie-dye legging is done in a navy and white Shibori print and a deep gray solid color option on the reverse side (you essentially turn them inside out for a completely different legging).
The capri length features a tie dye print in several shades of blue and vivid green with solid dark gray on the reverse side. You get two awesome, stylish bottoms for the price of one.
With Spring, Peach features this blue and white tie-dye print on two dresses. Either of these dresses can be paired with the white Ponte Blazer to head to the office.
Yumi Tie Dye Dress – The ruching down the sides of the Yumi will create and accentuate all the right curves, making it the perfect dress for everyone. It takes stylish, versatile and comfortable up a notch.
Loreto Tie Dye Dress – the ultimate “all day, every day” dress, the Loreto will work in casual office environments, but can also go to the beach, a bbq, or the pool deck.
